CLUB RESOURCES

On this page, you’ll find various resources that have been identified to assist your Club Volunteers with the important and varied roles they play within our sport.

Police Vetting

Swimming New Zealand and Swimming Otago require individuals who operate at a club, regional or national level who wish to act in a role (paid or voluntary) that will have sole or joint responsibility for children or vulnerable people, to undergo a Police Vetting check (police vet) prior to being approved. Following the initial satisfactory police vet, coaches are to be vetted every two years and technical officials, managers, and others every three years thereafter.
